Liz Haines (Nsch 2024)
Liz currently milks a 400 strong heard of Spring Calving Cows alongside her two business partners. Having began a career in Publishing she returned to farming with her husband and took on a tenancy in Staffordshire in 2013. As well as being a Sector Council Member for AHDB diary so is also a regular columnist for the Farmers Weekly.  She was diagnosed with ADHD in 2022 which prompted a new understanding of how to employ and support others. She is passionate about opportunities for new entrants into agriculture and bringing people from non farming backgrounds into the industry.

Saba Amir (Nsch 2024)
Saba’s route into Agriculture was rather unconventional and started with being awarded a PhD scholarship in 2017 to study gut health in Chickens. Her interest in dairy and sustainable agriculture grew when she worked as a knowledge exchange fellow for Farming Connect. Saba has recently been a Livestock Consultant at ADAS and presented her Nuffield Study: Prolonged Calf Cow Contact in Dairy Farming: Challenges and Opportunities, at this year’s conference.
