01 Sep 2026 SFI26 Window 2 expected to open on 22 September

SFI26 Window 1 has now closed. This window was designed to prioritise smaller farm businesses and those without an existing ELM revenue agreement. 6,500 applications were received and the average annual agreement value was just under £10,000.

It is expected that Window 2 will open from 22 September for all eligible farmers and land managers.  Before making an application, the information on this page explains the steps you need to take before you start your application, so the process is as straightforward as possible.
