Creating a long-term sustainable water abstraction plan for the River Avon

Farmer involvement is crucial to better understand the Warwickshire Avon and create a long-term sustainable water abstraction plan.   This Severn Trent led workshop for local farmers will seek their local knowledge, practical experience and on‑the‑ground perspective.    Working together it is hoped to build an accurate picture of the catchment, help identify viable water resource options, highlight potential opportunities to improve in-river ecology and shape partnership projects that genuinely reflect local priorities.
