Every year an average of 2 children lose their life on a farm, and sadly since 1 April 2025, in total there have been 26 fatalities, including 3 children.   To change attitudes to farm safety and reduce these statistics, the National Association of Agricultural Contractors is running a campaign which asks all people working on a farm to place a safety sticker in prominent places.  The sticker campaign aims to prompt more thinking about safety and remind everyone to act, whether that is always wearing a helmet when riding a quad bike, making sure PTO guards are always in place or perhaps switching a machine off before clearing a blockage.   You can order your stickers on this website.  The stickers will also be available to collect at every Rural Hub health and welfare event.
