Experienced Arable Operator – Hatton Farms Ltd Permanent Position
Skilled combine driver/sprayer operator/main tractor driver is required to start in July 2021. We are a progressive arable farming business in Warwickshire with 1100 hectares of combinable crops and run approximately 200 head of cattle as a finishing enterprise. Main Duties will include:
Combine driving – CR9.90 Intellisense on tracks 35ft cut
Sprayer driver – Case Puma 150 with Berthoud Vantage dark 43-45
Sands Vision 3.0
Tractor Driving – T7.270 with Dowdeswell 7 furrow plough and 4m topdown.
Other duties include: all other aspects of arable farming, estate maintenance, regular cattle work, some sheep work.
Pa1 and Pa2 essential – Full clean UK driving licence – Telehandler certificate – Excellent record keeping skills – Good understanding of health and safety is essential – Workshop skills an advantage – GPS RTK knowledge an advantage – Livestock handling an advantage
The applicant will be part of a four person team and will be enthusiastic, clean, have a tidy approach to work and respect for machinery. Regular up-to-date training is provided. Must be willing to work long hours as the season dictates. Accommodation can be provided and remuneration will be based upon experience. Harvest staff required for mid-Warwickshire arable farming business
2 x harvest staff are required from July to the end of September 2021 on a progressive arable farming business in mid Warwickshire with 1100 hectares of combinable crops and approximately 200 head of finishing cattle. Duties will include:
Grain carting, telehandler work, cultivations, rolling & assisting with other arable duties when required.
We operate modern machinery; 2 x JCB telehandlers, New Holland and Case tractors with 14T grain trailers. Previous tractor and trailer experience is desirable and a full UK driving licence is required. The applicant will be part of a young six-person team and will be enthusiastic, clean, have a tidy approach to work and respect for machinery. Early 2021 (circa January) – Long term let?
Property needed for a young family (mum plus two children age 10 and 6 and a very clean and well behaved small cat!). The tenants comprise of a working professional who has excellent references, is very clean, tidy, reliable and trustworthy. The children are well behaved and respectful. Property required as an interim solution for approximately a year or more due to forced sale of the marital home due to very unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances. Tenant will pay rent. Property needs to be safe, dry, warm and have basic utilities as a minimum.
Ideally the property will be unfurnished or have room for the family’s belongings (nothing out of the norm) during their stay. Ideally a two or three bed with parking. Easy access to Leek Wootton and Stoneleigh required for work/school. Anything in Kenilworth, Leek Wootton, Leamington, Warwick/nearby rural areas ideal.
Tenant is more than happy to take on a property with land/animals that require help and upkeep in return for reduction in rent. Tenant is experienced with rural living and animal upkeep.
Wanted – Grazing and stable or shelter
Looking for grazing with stables or shelter for one horse and one pony. Prefer sole use but open to other options. Bishops Itchington, Harbury, Ladbroke or Knightcote sort of area. Sensible, experienced mature owner.
