Metal detecting group seeks land for events
We are an established metal detecting group called Toads Treasure Hunts which is now seeking new land in Warwickshire for our events. We have already held many digs in Napton on the Hill and feedback from landowners has been positive.
The ratio of people attending a dig is 1 person to 1 acre. Guests pay a £15 fee per person and 50% of this fee would be paid to the landowner. 10% of the remaining fee is donated to charity. We are present for one day between 8.00am – 5.00pm on a date agreed with the landowner. Strict dig rules are adhered to and guests can only attend after confirming they hold valid public liability insurance for metal detecting. Every field will be left as we found it with all holes filled in. All litter and scrap will be taken off site. All of our digs are run in accordance with the portable antiquities scheme and the treasure act.
If you are interested in finding out more about hosting a metal detecting event on your land please contact Nathan Smith on 07958 316056 or email email@example.com
