23 Feb 2026 Support for forestry businesses to take on apprentices

Small and seasonal forestry businesses can now access support to take on Level 3 Forest Craftsperson apprentices.  Forestry Commission is funding a scheme run by the non‑profit organisation Supplytrain, as part of the Sector Skills Plan. Employers will be able to access support with recruitment, HR, payroll, college coordination and mandatory training – leaving them to simply provide work and pay wages.  Visit the Supplytrain website to learn more.  funding
