01 Apr 2026 RPA simplify email addresses for contacting them about grants

The Rural Payment Agency is changing the way farmers contact them by email about some of their grants.   Several email addresses have been closed and replaced by ruralpayments@defra.gov.uk   However, if you use an obsolete email, you will receive acknowledgement that your message has been forwarded to the replacement email address.    You also need to register and validate your own email address with the RPA.  Read this blog post to see which addresses are now out of operation and how to validate your email with the RPA.
