01 Dec 2025 Rural Hub joins the NAAC campaign to change attitudes to farm safety
Warwickshire Rural Hub has joined the campaign headed by the National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC) to provide a simple but powerful visual reminder to stay safe whilst working on farms. NAAC has produced stickers featuring the message “I am vital to UK Agriculture – Stay Safe!”, which aim to reinforce the importance of protecting ourselves and one another.
NAAC is encouraging contractor members and the wider farming community to work together by displaying the stickers in prominent locations, reminding everyone that each individual plays a vital role. The campaign is intended to prompt safer decision-making, whether that means always wearing a helmet when riding a quad bike, ensuring PTO guards are correctly fitted, or switching off machinery before clearing a blockage. Safety is a shared responsibility, and the entire sector must work together to remind one another that we are vital not only to our businesses but also to our families and friends.
Your FREE safety stickers are available here: https://www.naac.co.uk/naac-safety-campaign/ The stickers will also be available to pick up at Rural Hub health and welfare events at Rugby Farmers’ Mart cafe.
You can also post a photo of your sticker in situ using the campaign hashtags: #IamVitaltoUKAgriculture #StaySafe
