Open flat land wanted for a small experienced day business
We are looking for a new home for our tandem paramotor experience business. Somewhere with a farm shop/cafe would be ideal, but not a necessity. Size of required land will vary according to the location’s surroundings, but somewhere between 1.5 and 6 acres is a rough guide. The more open the location, the less land required. Must be accessible by vehicle. Access is required between dawn and dusk when the weather permits. No farm animal dung please, as this damages our wings. Preferably within 20 minutes drive of Nuneaton but all locations will be considered.
Paramotors are foot launched aircraft and rely heavily on the right weather conditions. This means it’s not particularly intrusive to the land and we cannot fly every day. A paramotor has to be launched and landed against the wind which means we have to be able to take off and land in every direction, unlike an aeroplane. We do not require an airstrip, an open, fairly flat field of any description would be great.
A paramotor is subject to all UK air law and must be flown in accordance with the civil aviation authority’s regulations. We are respectful of our surroundings and always fly with this in mind. www.tandemparamotorrides.co.uk is our website if you wish to have a look. If you have any questions, maybe know somebody that could help or better still, have some land that you would be willing to rent to us then please feel free to contact me. If we are unable to answer the telephone then please leave a voicemail and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Grazing required for sheep
Looking for some ground to graze some sheep on. Doesn’t have to be massive, small paddocks will be considered. The ideal location is around Harbury, Southam or Leamington. Many thanks.
